Oracle Peoplesoft has delivered a lot of interesting features in PeopleSoft HCM PUM 43. One of the key features delivered for NA Payroll Administrators, is the ability to calculate checks for individual employees quickly. These country-specific enhancements ensure quick turnaround of tasks for the Business users.<\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Administrators need to enable Quick calculation check box to access the Quick Calculation.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When users select \u201cEnable Quick Calculation\u201d option the quick calculation page appears in the pay line component automatically.<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Select the calculate button to calculate the paycheck for the employee. The calculated check is ready in seconds and the check details will be available in paycheck summary.<\/p>\n

Step\u00a0 4<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Detailed paycheck data such as paycheck earnings and paycheck taxes and deductions are available for review.<\/p>\n

The calculate button will be disabled after the quick calculation is completed but when changes are made to the pay line, the system resets the \u201cQuick Calculation Page\u201d and the user can calculate the check again with updated information.<\/p>\n

Step 6<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Quick Calculation Process returns any warning or error messages which is also available for review in the payroll messages section. By selecting the message details link to review these messages in detail.<\/p>\n
