HCM PUM 38 gives a nicer way to synchronize Job Skills to your Talent Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n

PeopleSoft HCM Update Image 38 was recently released, and it contains a long list of helpful new features. One of the highlights from the new Image update is Copying the job items to a person profile. This update extends the process of creating and maintaining a person\u2019s profile data in fluid.<\/p>\n

Employees and Managers can easily copy their job items into the profile using the related actions menu. When user copy job items, the PeopleSoft system identifies profile content related to the person\u2019s job.<\/p>\n

To Copy Job Item, click on the action button and navigate to the Action > Development > Copy Job Items

Employee can select the profile from which he want to copy job items.

System will skip the above page and display directly copy job item page when employee has single profile related to his job.<\/p>\n

Copy Job item page will displays the things, which are part of job profile but not yet the part of employee profile.

Employee or Manager can select all link to copy all the items from job profile to employee profile. Employee can also copy individual items, if user wants to copy it individually.<\/p>\n

Copy status in copy job item page will displays whether selected the item is going to copy or need any required information to get copy into profile.

If an item needs your attention, the status will indicate that you need to make updates prior to copying it to the person\u2019s profile.<\/p>\n

Status shows the submitted for approval when item requires approval to add into profile. System will automatically copy those profile items for which approval is not required into employee profile.

Once all the items which are selected for ready to copy employee can select the Copy Button which is available on the section.

Employee can review the items you want to copy to the person\u2019s profile and then submit them.

Later returning to the Copy Job Items page to see the status of the job items being copied to the profile. When an item requires approval to be added to a profile, the status indicates that it has been submitted for approval or system will add automatically.
