Oracle introduces exciting features with every release. These enhanced features make Oracle more user friendly. With 22A upgrade, Oracle has provided the feature to Copy Job Offer for Oracle Recruiting Cloud.<\/p>\n

The Copy Job Offer feature enables a recruiter to quickly create new job offers for one or more new hires by copying the offer details which were already created and approved for some other candidate. This function will copy all the details accept the date of the offer. In case anything in the original offer has become obsolete by the time of copy, then only partial data will be copied. For example, if the salary basis field or location field details are removed from the original offer, then only half the details will be copied. Recruiters can continue drafting each one with more current information. The copied job offer will be in the draft state. This is helpful and time saver as Recruiters can modify if new candidates offer details need to be a bit different than the original candidate offer details. Alternatively, the copied offer can also be configured to immediately submit for approval cycle.<\/p>\n

The user will get notified once the copy is complete. This notification will also include details if any offers couldn\u2019t be copied for some reason. Configurations can be done for copied offers to accelerate with offer extension and move to HR automatically, i.e., if the candidate accepts the offer.<\/p>\n

How to copy job offers<\/h2>\n

Steps to Copy Job Offer:<\/p>\n

  1. In the Job Requisition page, search the job requisition and click\u00a0Applications<\/strong>\u00a0to open the\u00a0Job Applications<\/em>\u00a0page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/p>\n

    1. Select the candidates which require offer letter creation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      <\/p>\n

      1. Click\u00a0Actions<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Copy Offer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        <\/p>\n

        1. In the Copy Offer page:<\/li>\n
        2. Select the offer letter to be copied from\u00a0Offer to Copy from Candidate<\/strong>\u00a0dropdown.<\/li>\n
        3. Enter a name for the process in\u00a0Name of Batch Offer Process<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Select date of new offers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. When Batch Process Is Done:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              • Submit new offers for approval:<\/strong>\u00a0Automatically triggers the offer for approval.<\/li>\n
              • Stay in draft state to edit new offers:<\/strong>\u00a0Copies the offer in draft status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                After the copy process is complete, recruiters can see the state or progress of the offers at Job Offers tab searched by the\u00a0Name of Batch Offer Process\u00a0<\/strong>name.<\/p>\n

                Additional Information for Copy Job Offers:<\/h2>\n
                  \n
                • Any external offer in any state on the current requisition can be copied.<\/li>\n
                • The feature is supported for new hires and rehires, but not for internal candidates or contingent workers.<\/li>\n
                • Copies can only be made within a single requisition, not from one requisition to another.<\/li>\n
                • It is recommended to select a recently-created offer because obsolete info can\u2019t be copied.<\/li>\n
                • For position-based offers, some candidates can fill up the headcount and FTE.<\/li>\n
                • Before implementation this feature, an organization should consider their recruiting processes for proper setup of any AutoComplete validation rules to the newly copied offers like if the business process require automatic approval of the new offers copied from an approved offer, automatic extension of the new copied offers, and automatic conversion of the candidates with offer accepted to HR after the new copied offers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Actions needed to enable Copy Job Offer<\/h2>\n

                  To enable the Copy Job Offer feature:<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. Navigate to\u00a0Setup and Maintenance<\/strong>\u00a0and search for \u2018Manage Administrator Profile Values<\/strong>\u2019.<\/li>\n
                  2. Search for Profile Option Code\u00a0ORA_IRC_ALLOW_COPY_JOB_OFFER<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                  3. Set the value to\u00a0Y<\/strong>\u00a0to use this option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Approval Configuration setting<\/h2>\n

                    Approval rules can be configured if different approval cycle is required for copied job offer.<\/p>\n

                    Copied job offers can be identified with the field detail of Offer Details \u2013\u00a0Batch Creation Flag as Y<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Offer Details.Source State Name<\/strong>\u00a0as\u00a0Approved\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0Accepted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                    Candidate Selection Process setting<\/h2>\n

                    In the CSP setting, the field called IRC_CSP_JAVA_BATCH_COPY_FLAG identifies if an offer is created by the batch process if its\u2019 value is Y. This field can be configured into a fast formula which then can be used for auto progression rule. The rule can find candidate who has reach the phase and state offer accepted and can execute the Extend Offer action; or find candidate who has accepted the offer and can execute Move to HR.<\/p>\n
